Speech Coaching Public Speaking Skills for Speakers with Patricia

Public Speaking & Presentation Skills Coaching by Telephone
Naturally, Public Speaking and Presentation Skills Coaching by Telephone has some limitations but can be a very valuable way for you to receive the very best available advice without getting on an airplane. It is also a great way to communicate between in-person coaching sessions. Most of the same topics covered and advice given at in-person meetings can be taught over the phone.

The telephone is perfect for brainstorming and training on:

  • Openings, closings, structure, saleable ideas, confidence building, meeting formats and design, evaluation of audio and videotapes.
  • Everything listed in the standard proposal following this communication.
If you want to consider this, be prepared for sessions usually not longer than two hours at a time. Make sure you are in a room where you will not be disturbed, and can be totally focused, to maximize your investment. Speakerphones are great, and I suggest you tape record the conversations for repeat listening. I will do the same thing my side of the phone.
