Q. What is attendance
like at The Odd Couple Seminar?
A. Large enough for interesting networking
-- small enough that you will get a chance for the one-on-one
interaction and attention you need!
Q. How is this different
from a NSA (National Speakers Association) meeting?
A. This is smaller, tailored to your
needs, and very honest:
- Each registrant will be sending in his or her pre-conference
questionnaire so we will have a sense of what attendees'
needs are
- There will be more one-on-one opportunities
- 2 seasoned and highly successful speaker/consultants will
tell you the truth, up close, in person, and uncensored!!!
- In this setting we are not governed by the antitrust laws
which affect NSA gatherings, and we can discuss fees frankly...and
any other sensitive matters...
- Sessions are more extensive and there will be time and
attention for your questions.
Q. How will the Odd
Couple® be tailored to my needs?
A. All Odd Couple® registrants are
asked tocomplete a
pre-conference questionnaire. Please fill it out as
completely as possible and return it promptly. We want to
know what aspects of marketing and strategy are most important

Q. Are there any faculty
apart from Alan Weiss and Patricia Fripp?
A. No.
Q. Do people attend
the Odd Couple® Seminar more than once?
A. Yes! Once you have attended the Odd
Couple® Seminar you can return as an alumnus. Your investment
for the seminar is 50% of the registration investment for
non-alumni.
Q. Can I get an agenda
for the Odd Couple® Seminar ?
A. Yes! Click

Q. Will this year's Odd
Couple® Seminar be recorded?
A. No. However,
you can invest in a early Odd Couple Seminar on CD. Each
year has new information and as Fripp and Weiss respond to
the issues of the audience, each session has it's own personality.
If
you cannot make it to this year's Odd Couple Seminar, take
advantage of these content-rich resources to improve your
professional speaking, consulting, or coaching business.
Q. Is there a
cancellation policy?
A. Yes. Registration Investment will
be refunded, less a $100 administration charge, for cancellations
prior to January 8, 2008. After January 8, 2008, no refunds
will be issued; instead, any registrants canceling will be
given registration credit towards the 2009 Odd Couple Seminar.
Cancellations must be made via voicemail AND written message
(email/fax) ; cancellations without both forms of notification
will be treated as no-shows. No refunds or credits will be
granted for no-shows. (After all, your mother taught you better
manners.) Registration to the Odd Couple Seminar is based
on your acceptance of this cancellation policy.

Couple® Seminar take place?
A. The 2008 Odd Couple Seminar will be
held in San Francisco, CA at:

Q. What about hotel reservations?
A. YOU are responsible for your hotel reservations.
Hotel reservations are NOT included in your Odd Couple®
Seminar registration.
Odd Couple attendees: If you wish to stay at
the event hotel, the Grand Hyatt San Francisco at Union Square,
to make reservations under THE ODD COUPLE for March 7-9 for
the discounted rate $339. Reservations line is 1-800-233-1234.
You are welcome to stay anywhere you wish.
Q. What about breakfast
and lunch?
A. Continental breakfast will be provided
both days and is included with your registration. Lunch will
be on your own; network with your fellow attendees and enjoy
lunch together in San Francisco's Union Square area.
Q. What about coffee?
A. Coffee service will be provided in
the morning at the start of every session.
Q. What should I wear?
A. We suggest business casual -- comfortable
business casual will help you feel good and get the most from
these sessions!
Q. What should I bring?
A. Bring plenty of notepads. Handouts
will be provided.
Q. How do I get there?
A. Suggestion: If driving, park at Sutter Stockton Garage.
