Patricia's Designations and Awards
CSP—Certified Speaking Professional
The Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation, conferred by the National Speakers Association and the International Federation for Professional Speakers, is the speaking profession’s international measure of professional platform skill.
Speakers must be members of NSA or another IFFPS organization for at least three years and complete a rigorous application process to earn the CSP designation.
CPAE—Council of Peers Award for Excellence—Speaker Hall of Fame
Awarded to a maximum of five members annually for demonstrated platform excellence and professionalism, CPAEs are an elite group. Recipients include: Ken Blanchard, Norman Vincent Peale, Ronald Reagan, and Zig Ziglar.
Cavett Award
The Cavett Award is NSA’s most cherished award. It is presented annually to the member whose accomplishments over the years have reflected outstanding credit, respect, honor, and admiration in the Association and the speaking profession, and whose actions (in terms of sharing, guiding, and inspiring other members) most closely parallel the illustrious career of NSA Founder Cavett Robert, CSP, CPAE.
